After our wilderness guide introduced himself and his assistant, we began to "don" rappelling gear, seat harness and clip carabineers to our dry pack. Finally we were issued a canyon shoe that in the end did us wonders, incredible that rubber can stick so well in either wet or dry polished rock conditions.

We were nervous at the first rappel, with equipment in hand and out guide coaching us through the details, my self and my 12 year old daughter came to rest at the bottom of a 30 foot waterfall. Her eyes were alive with excitement and the guides were amazing coaches.

  Pirate River Cave Adventure - 9 years of age and up - Amazing river adventure, guides escort groups of adventurers down stream from the Boyden Cavern parking lot. All are connected together mountain climbing style with flotation devices and helmets and lights.
                    Approximately 2.5 hours long.

  Kings Journey     12 years of age and up - Leaves from Boyden Cavern parkig lot and travels up stream. Incredible views of cascading waterfalls and amazing pools of water. This trip specializes in traveling upstream with very few rappels. However it is high on the adventure scale and requires good health. Good for all ages 12 and older.
                              6-8 hours long

  kings Castle (overnight in Boyden Cavern) all ages - Spending the night in the cavern is quite an extrodnairy activity. Especially if it is combined with one of the canyoneering trips. Enter the cavern at about 7:30 to 8:00 at night with your overnight equipment. Guides tell stories of ancient geological history as well as the history of the Monanache Indians and the first White explorers ot discover the amazing "geological Boyden marble roof pendants". The overnighter is great for large families and group activities.

Tired of the same old visits to the parks... Set up camp, lock your food in the Bear locker, do a bit of swimming, maybe go for a day hike. Then that night wonder off to the Interpretative talk and learn about the Latin name for the six kinds of Blue Jays in the area.

Join us for fun, climbing, swimming, exploring canyons of the kings area. Learn climbing skills, develop confidence, take a wild plunge into that deep cool pool, learn to tie your own ropes, create anchors and then rappel crags, crevices and waterfalls.  

All trips are designed for the average person and average health. Out guides specialize in bringing the remote and rugged back country to YOU. No longer is this part of the most beautiful wilderness in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range only available to well outfitted, specialized individuals. Now with us you can to join in the outdoors with out the years of training or the giant expenses in equipment.

Located deep in the Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National forest, Kings Canyon is truly one of the undiscovered parks and forest in the country. Kings Canyon is the deepest canyon in the country at just over 8000 feet deep with hundreds of smaller canyons flowing into the mighty canyon creating hundreds of wild and scenic rivers all flowing into the kings river and eventually out to California central valley.
Kings Canyon is located 77 miles East of Fresno CA, on highway 180. 5 hours north of southern California and approximately 4 hours South east of the San Francisco bay area. We are just south of Yosemite National Park.

The Canyonnering season is water level based, typically we start mid to late May and go through to mid November.
